Juanita Faye Tanner,
99, of Poteau, OK passed away Saturday,
February 2, 2019 in Barling, AR (five days shy of her 100th
birthday). Juanita was born February 7, 1919, in Williams, OK to William Arthur
& Elie (Bond) Davis. She was a
seamstress at Hamlin Mfg. Juanita was a
member and Sunday School teacher at Southside
Baptist Church. Juanita went to Carl
Albert State College at the age of 75 and obtained a Child Development
Certificate.
Survivors include her daughter, Annette Wise; sons, James
Tanner & Mike Tanner & wife Denise; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren;
11 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives &
loved ones.
Services will be 10 am, Monday, February 4, 2019 at Southside Baptist Church
with Rev. Jim Reed officiating.
Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau,OK. Honorary pallbearers will be her sons &
grandsons.
The family will be at the funeral home from 3-5 pm on
Sunday to visit with relatives & friends.
