Kenneth Allen Shipley Jr., 70, of
Poteau, OK passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 in Poteau. Kenneth was born
April 4, 1948, in Tulsa, OK to Kenneth Sr. & Wilma (Garrison) Shipley. He worked at Rheem. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents;
brother, Paul Shipley & sister, Karen North.
Survivors include his wife, Alice;
sons & daughters in law, Ronnie & Rhonda Shipley, Kenneth & Julie
Shipley; daughter & son in law, Nancy & Tony Collins; grandchildren,
Blainey Shipley, Brody Shipley, Lisa Bryce, Cody Shipley & Desirae Collins;
5 great grandchildren, Ryker, Bryr, Kaylor,
Kasen & Taylynn; sisters & their husbands, Penny & Reed George,
Donna & Pete Whitaker; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services
will be 2 pm, Friday, November 9, 2018
at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau with Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery,
Poteau. Pallbearers will be Hank Collins
& Billy Cook, Brody Shipley, Blainey Shipley, Cody Shipley & Zach Ernest, Jackie Neal.
The
family will be at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm to visit
with relatives & friends.
