Frieda Jo Hutton, 82, of OKC (formerly of the Calhoun area) passed
away, Saturday, July 14, 2018 in OKC. Jo
was born in Dog Creek, OK on July 22, 1935 to Elvin & Juanita (Sides)
Davis. Her love and faith in the Lord,
that she instilled in her children, grandchildren, and anyone who knew her help
us realize that we will see her again. She
was a devoted wife, daughter, Mother, and friend and will be greatly
missed. In her younger years, she sold
World Book Encyclopedias, volunteered in the school library, owned the
Shangrila Beauty Salon & Boutique. Then she began taking care of her sister,
parents & husband, showing us that
“Family” is the most important treasure we have on earth. Jo was preceded in death by her husband of 62
years, Don; son, “Pat” Hutton; her
parents; sister, Shelbie Ross and her brother, Leo Davis.
Survivors include her son &
daughter in law, Mike & Mary Hutton of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter &
son in law, Shara & Randy Sargent of Newkirk, OK; brother, Dale Davis;
sister in law, Mary Davis; 17 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren, 3 great
great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, family & friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Friday, July 20, 2018 at Evans Chapel of Memories,
Poteau with Jim Cook officiating. Burial
will be at Dog Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Hutton, Kurtis Cain, Mike Hutton, Dexter Ross,
Clayton Sargent, and Daniel Davis.
