Karen Annette (Osburn)
Short, 54, of Keota, OK passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at her home. Karen was born November 7, 1963 in Ft. Smith,
AR to Robert Euel & Wanda (Perdue) Osburn.
She was a carrier for the US Postal Service. She was preceded in death by her parents;
grandparents; Kolton's father, Dean Ringgold; niece, KD Osburn.
Survivors include her husband,
Troy Short; sons, Paden Smith, Kolton Ringgold of the home, Jonathan Short of
Ft. Smith, AR and Marcus Short of Roland, OK; stepmother, Bonita Osburn,
brother, Kerry Osburn, sisters, Sonya Crase & Lisa Crase; other nieces,
nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm,
Monday, March 12, 2018, at Evans Chapel of Memories with Rev. Taylor A. Joyce
officiating. Interment will follow in
Akins Cemetery near Sallisaw. Pallbearers
will be Troy Short, Paden Smith, Kolton Ringgold, Travis Crase, Paul David
Osburn, Kenny Osburn. Honorary
pallbearers will be Jonathan Short, Joshua Crase & Darryl Crase.
The family will be at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
