Joyce Lackie

          Joyce Beverly Korsgaden  Lackie was born November 15, 1941, and left this world to be with the Lord on March 16, 2018.  She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She worked as a housekeeper for Holiday Inn up until her retirement.  She made the most of her time raising and having fun with her children.  She cherished having a hand in spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren; having fun with all and helping babysit when needed and sometimes when she just felt like having them to spoil them rotten.  Joyce was fun loving and made many special memories with all of those she came in contact with.  She left behind quite a family in her 55 years and 8 months of marriage to Bill.  Joyce is preceded  in death by her parents; Betsy & Alfred Korsgaden of Minnesota and sister, Gail Korsgaden Wagenast of North Dakota.

          Joyce is survived by her brother, Jerome Korsgaden of Artesia, CA; husband, Bill Lackie of Pocola, OK; sons, Brian Lackie, Anthony Lackie, Christopher Lackie  of the home, son & daughter in love, Jerome & Maryann Lackie of Tulsa, OK; daughter & son in love, Susan & Zachary Robison of Pocola, OK; 16  grandchildren (2 of whom preceded her in death) , 18 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

          Services will be  2 pm, Wednesday,  March 21, 2018 at Fort Smith National Cemetery with Rev. Jim Stem officiating.  Pallbearers will be Johnathon Decker, Justin Lackie, George Curtis, Nathan Kirby, Stephen Robison & Nickolas Robison.  Honorary pallbearers will be Noah Lackie, Ethan Stockett, Richard McGehee.

          The family will be at the funeral home in Pocola on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
