Goldie Juanita Hollan, 84,
of Poteau, OK went to be with God on Monday, January 8, 2018. Goldie was born November 5, 1933, in
Summerfield, OK to Binjamin "BC" & Anna (Powers) Carpenter. She was preceded in death by her beloved
husband of 56 years, Eudell Hollan; her
birth mother, Anna; her father, B.C; mother, Mae Carpenter; brother, Richard
Carpenter and sister, Iva VanHook Phillips.
Survivors include her
daughters, Betty Murphy & husband Paul of Poteau, OK; Pam Steelman &
husband Curtis of Reichert, OK; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer Jackson & friend
Scott Kettman of Stillwater, OK, Amanda Dedmon & husband, Mark of Haw
Creek, OK; Nathan Steelman of Poteau, OK; 6 great grandchildren, Weston &
Raegan Ward of Haw Creek, OK, Annalee & Levi Jackson of Stillwater, Melody
& Montana Dedmon of Haw Creek; brother, Alton Carpenter of Summerfield, OK;
sisters, Eva Brown of TX, Retha Dehart, Janice Talburt, & Cheryl Kuhn all of
Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm,
Friday, January 12, 2018 at Summerfield Church of Christ with Tracy Loyd
officiating. Interment will follow at
Summerfield Cemetery.
