Lorene Bessie (Ford) Walker, 87, of Poteau, OK passed away
Wednesday, January 10, 2018, in Poteau.
Lorene was born in Prairie View, AR to Emmett & Bessie (Cauldwell)
Clough. She was preceded in death by her
brother, J.B. Clough; sister, Pearl Britton; and son, Teddie Ford.
Survivors include her
husband, Ed Walker; daughters, Betty Yarbrough & husband Jim of Poteau,
Joyce Couch of Howe, Doris Morris & husband Keith of Poteau; sons, Freddie
& Eddie Ford of Poteau; 15 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; 10 great
great grandchildren; brother, E.C. Clough of AR; sisters, Barbara Belknap &
husband Burt of Cove, AR, Mary James & husband Charlie of Shady Point, OK;
stepchildren, Belva Joyce Walker of AR, Cheryl Walker of OK, Elaine Douthat of
MO, Janie Holloway of OK, Christine Walker of FL, Bobby Walker of AR, Anthony
Walker of MO, Nathan Ray Walker of OK; numerous nieces, nephews, other
relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 10 am,
Monday, January 15, 2018 , at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev.
Harold Thompson officiating. Interment
will follow at Mt. View/Glendale Cemetery, Wister, OK. Pallbearers will be Chris Ford, Bud Killion,
Greg Herndon, Alex Herndon, Danny Walker & Kevin Yarbrough.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Sunday from 2-6 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
