Bill Raney

Bill Raney, 89, of Arlington, TX passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 in Arlington.  Bill was born September 8, 1928 in Poteau, OK to William Ed and Ava Lou Raney.  He was a veteran of the US Army. Bill was preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother John Raney.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Cleora Raney; 2 Sons,  Ronald Raney and wife Susan of Vancouver, WA, Mark Raney and wife Sue of Arvada, CO.; 2 Daughters,  Linda Huebner and husband Michael of Irving, TX, and Carolyn Raney of Arlington, TX; 9 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandsons;  numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Monday, December 4, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Poteau with Gentry Hill and Jim Cook officiating.  Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Ron Raney, Mark Raney, Gregory Chavez, Michael Huebner, Mike Raney, Mike Lovett, Ed Abernathy & Marshall Brence.
Family will visit with friends Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 4-6pm at the funeral home.
