Jerry Donald Byous, 71, of
Poteau, OK passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in Poteau. Jerry was born July 22, 1946 in Gustine, CA
to Clyde Ellis & Martha Evelee (Covey) Byous. He was a construction contractor and was a
veteran of the US Army Reserve. Jerry
volunteered at Choctaw. He attended
Ellis Chapel Church in Wister. He was
preceded in death by his wife, Patricia and his parents, Clyde & Martha
Byous.
Survivors include his
daughters, Sherry Fite of Wister, OK,
Terri & Edward Navarro, of Poteau, OK, Christy & Carl Sisk of
Talihina, OK; brothers, John & Lisa Byous, James & Rebecca Byous;
sister, Joyce Hair; grandkids, Justin & Audra Byous, Edward & Nicole
Navarro, Dakota Navarro, Tyler Fite, Tory Byous & Callie Byous; great
grandkids, Jaedon Byous, Jedidiah Byous;
first wife, Mary Heston; nieces, Shannon & Patrick Ruddy &
Melissa McCormick; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm,
Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at graveside at Ellis Chapel Cemetery, Wister, OK with interment
following.
The family will be at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
