Doug Ford



    William Douglas "Doug" Ford, 60, of Cameron, OK passed away Friday, September 15, 2017 in Houston, Tx.  Doug was born March 20, 1957 in Tulsa, OK to William and Sally (Caughron) Ford. He was very dedicated to providing for his family by serving 30 years in the oil field industry and 10 years as a truck driver. Doug was an avid OU fan.  He loved spending time with his family and friends. Especially attending the various activities of all his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents William and Sally Ford.

      Doug is survived by his wife Patricia Ford of the home, two daughters, Kim Gotes and husband Scott of Cameron, OK; Karen Hargrove and husband Kendall of Rock Island, OK; eight grandkids; Jordyn, Faith, Jacob, Hope, Parker, Brea, Levi and Caden. One brother, Rick Nye and wife Karen of Fort Smith, AR; two sisters Jan Ford of Howe, OK; Missy Odom and husband Curtis of Cameron, OK. Three nephews Ryan, Richie and Rodney. Two nieces Katie and Loren. Numerous other relatives, loved ones and friends.

           Services will be 2 pm, Friday, September 22, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Poteau, Ok with Reverends Leonard Presley and Travis Cook officiating. Interment will be in Fairhill (Knothole) Cemetery, Cameron, OK.  Pallbearers will be: Kendall Hargrove,  Shannon  McClary, Ryan Nye,  Kyle McClary,  Richie Nye, David McClary,  Rodney Nye,  AJ Thompson, Clint Morris.  Honorary Pallbearers will be: Rick Nye, Caden Colbert, Scott Gotes,  Curtis Odom, Jacob Gotes, Tim Slone & David Hadley.

The family will be at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
