William "Dub"
Powell, 85, of Bokoshe, OK passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 in Pocola,
OK. Dub was born February 14, 1932 in
Bokoshe, OK to Julius Bryan & Violet (Jones) Powell. He
was a veteran of the US Army. He was
preceded in death by his wife, Gayle and daughter, Donna Gayle Powell.
Survivors include his
sister, Melba & husband Barney Mecom of Tulsa, OK; nephews, Bryan Mecom of
Coffeyville, KS, Richard Mecom of Covington, LA, Lendell Mecom of Boca Raton,
FL, Scott Rainey of Houston, TX, Chris Rainey of Tulsa, OK; niece, Robin Fisher of California;
other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Monday, July 24, 2017 at the United Methodist
Church in Bokoshe, OK with Pastor Cindy Arnwine officiating. Burial
will follow in Milton Cemetery.
