Josephine Harjo, 77, of
Poteau, OK passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017 in Talihina, OK. Josephine was born September 18, 1939 in Red
Oak, OK to Simon & Winnie Mae (Jackson) Carshall. She was preceded in death by her parents;
husband, Taylor Harjo; brother, Lee Carshall & sister, Esterline Ford.
Survivors include her
sister, Merida Hamilton of Poteau, OK;
nieces and nephews; her dog, Chawata; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 11 am,
Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery,
Poteau, OK.
