David Carl Sims, 71, of
Poteau, OK passed away Friday, February 24, 2017 in Ft. Smith, AR. David was born June 16, 1945 in Spiro, OK to
Lee Thompson & Lillie (Goins) Sims. He
was a carpenter. David was preceded in
death by his parents; brother, Alvie; Sister, Mary Persall and granddaughter,
Candice.
Survivors include his wife
Wanda of the home; daughter, Gina Sims
of California; sons, David Sims Jr. & wife Tiffany of California and Josh
Sims & wife Eva of Monroe, OK; 2 sisters, Lois Maxwell of Spiro, OK, Wilma
Jean McCasland of California; several in laws;
6 grandchildren, Dennis MacLean, Kaylub Sims, Jeremy Sims, Derrick Sims,
Mindy & Kyle Kissel; 5 great grandchildren;
numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Memorial Services - 10 am, Saturday, March 11, 2017 at
Springhill Baptist Church, Howe, Oklahoma.
