Donald Laquinn West Jr.,
61, of Poteau, OK passed away Monday, November 21, 2016 in Ft. Smith, AR. Donald was born April 19, 1955 in Poteau, OK
to Donald L. Sr. & Patsy (Lovell) West.
He worked as a mechanic and in
Paint & Body Work. He was preceded
in death by his father; grandson,
Christian West & grandmother, Christine Fox. Donald was a veteran of the US Army &
National Guard.
Survivors include his
mother, Patsy Lovell West; daughters, April Richey and Melanie Underwood of
Heavener, OK; sons, Jason West of Tulsa, OK and Donald L. West III of TX;
grandchildren, Meisha, Trenton, Jadence & Zachary West, Tabatha, Marty
& Clark Richey; Ethen & Caleb Underwood, Ricky Brown; sister, Bridgett
Evans of Stapp Zoe, OK; niece, Laura Suggs; other relatives, loved ones and
friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Friday, November 25, 2016 at Evans
Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Don Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Poker Bend.
The family will be at the funeral home from 5-7 pm Wednesday evening to visit with relatvies & friends.
