Juanita Delores Burnett, 87, of Summerfield, OK
passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016. Juanita
was born August 16, 1928 in Bristow, OK to Lafe & Cleo (Woods)
Anderson. She taught at Pawhuska, OK for
26 years. She was a member of the First
Baptist Church in Summerfield. Juanita
loved to quilt, sew and feed the cattle.
She was preceded in death by her
siblings, Naun Earle Barnes, Kenneth Anderson, Mildred Sue Derrick.
Survivors include her husband, Jay of the home;
children, Lafe & Robbie Burnett of Hominy, OK, Ja Anita Burnett of
Summerfield, OK; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Tema Wiley of
Summerfield, OK, Merzl Watkins of Thousand Oaks, CA; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and
nephews; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 11 am, Friday, May 13, 2016 at
Summerfield Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Caughern officiating. Interment will follow in Summerfield
Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shawn
Wehunt, Larry Christenson, Craig Rose, Paul Robbins, Kendall Carpenter and Alex
Rose.
