Cordelia Faye Bost Culbertson
age 89 a former resident of Howe,
Oklahoma, passed away on Monday April 4, 2016 at Southern Pointe Nursing Center
in Colbert, OK.
The funeral service will be
held at Evans and Miller Funeral Home on Thursday April 7, 2016 at 10:00.
Visitation will be open in the Evans and Miller Chapel. Burial will follow the
funeral at Howe Cemetery.
Cordelia was born on November 8, 1926 in
Oklahoma to Pearlie and Ora Bost. She was married to the late Charles
Culbertson.
Cordelia loved eating sweets,
gardening and planting flowers, sewing and making quilts , reading, and socializing
with her family and friends. She had a wonderful smile that could light up a
room and a kind spirit that was adored by loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her
husband, son James Leonard Ross Jr, and
five brothers.
She is survived by her four daughters Barbara
Sharlene Coleman and husband Les of Sherman, Texas, Rhonda Holley and husband Ronnie
of Talihina, Oklahoma, Mandy Mitchell of
Red Oak, Oklahoma, and Ruth Ross widow to James Ross Jr. of Howe, Oklahoma. Three
sisters Jean Rimer, Alice Carter, Minnie Wiley; Two brothers Don Bost, and Dan Bost. Cordelia
has 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
