Wilma Mae Herrington, 66,
of Poteau, OK passed away Friday, March
11, 2016 in Poteau. Wilma was born in Poteau on February 6, 1950
to Emmitt Dewey "Jack" &
Nancy Naomi (Davis) Herrington. She was
a beloved Mother & Grandmother; loved by many. She had a big heart and was a very caring
woman. She was so willing to help out anyone in need without hesitation. The lives of those fortunate enough to know
her will never be the same since she is gone.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Herrington & Nancy
Ollar; daughter, Kelly Lynn Lewis; brothers, Cecil, Ben, Joe, & Dewey Lee
Herrington; grandson, Chancey Lewis.
Survivors include her
daughters, Tammy Lewis & Diane "Nikki" Lewis of Poteau, OK; son,
James Lewis & wife, Sherry of Terre Haute, IN; grandchildren, Sierra
Goucher & husband Shane of San Diego, CA, Kelly Lewis & wife Destiny of
Poteau, Ashley & James Jr. of IN; Avery Lewis, Gracie Lewis; great
grandchildren, Kaysen, Kambrie , and
Paisley Lewis; brothers, John Harrington of Fanshawe, OK, Thomas Herrington of
Poteau, OK; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Family Memorial & Interment will be at
Fanshawe Cemetery.
