Charles Ray McMillin, 76,
of Poteau, OK passed away Monday, March 7, 2016 in Ft. Smith, AR. Charles was born November 11, 1939 in Poteau,
OK to Arthur E. "Pete" & Essie N. (Humphries) McMillin. He was retired as produce manager at Price
Cutter. Charles was preceded in death by
his wife, Oleta (Haney) McMillin 5/28/2011 and also his parents.
Survivors include 4
daughters, Maria & Keith Davis of Poteau, OK, Lisa & Paul Kelley of
Lone Oak, TX, Charlene McMillin of Poteau, OK, Carla & Greg Huttenmaier of
Tulsa, OK; 6 grandchildren, Brandon Davis, Brandy Davis, Ashley Dunigan, Dexter
Dunigan, Brett Kelley, Heath Kelley; 1 great grandchild, Brynlee Driver;
sister, Wanda Groom; brothers, Bobby of Rock Island, Roger & Don of Poteau;
other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 10 am,
Friday, March 11, 2016 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Revs. Phil
McGehee and Jim Cook officiating.
Interment will follow in Vaughn Cemetery, Gilmore, OK. Pallbearers will be Clarence Haney, Butch
Gilstrap, Rodney Hemphill, Brad McMillin, Mark McMillin, and Richard
Stacy. Honorary pallbearers will be his
brothers, Scott Bratton & Randy Akins.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.
