Peggy Llewellyn Gartner,
77, of Poteau, OK passed away Sunday,
January 17, 2016 in Poteau. Peggy was
born August 28, 1938 in Siloam Springs, AR to Talbott Hopkins & Alma Lavelle
(Owen) Tatum. Peggy was retired from the
Oklahoma Employment Security Commission.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; son in law,
Randy James.
Survivors include her
daughters, Pam Tolley Cox & Shirley
Tolley James of Poteau, OK; grandchildren, Randy & Amanda Cox, Katie Cox,
Dalton & Austin James, Stormy James; great grandchildren, Jacy, Samuel,
Blaine, Auri, and Zane; brother, John & Nancy Tatum of Norman; nephews, Mark Tatum, Robby &
Cappi Tatum; numerous cousins; other family members and friends.
Services will be 10 am, Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the
First United Methodist Church, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Perkin & Rev.
Charles Owen. Interment will be in
Memorial Park Cemetery, Heavener, OK.
Pallbearers will be Randy Cox, Austin James, Mark Tatum, Robby Tatum,
Sean Teague, Garrison VanCuren. Honorary
pallbearers will be Dalton James, Keith Moon.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.
