I am so sad to see this. Mr. Kitchens was one of my favorite educators and administrators. Such a kind, thoughtful, practical man. He will live on in the many lives he touched as a teacher and superintendent. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.Jackie McDonald Gaithe
ReplyDeleteTo the family of our Mr. Kitchens; I will always remember his kind and encouraging spirit. He taught his students more than just Math, Physical Ed. and Basketball. He taught us to be bold and try our best. As an Educator for 36 years, I look back and realize that he laid the groundwork for some of my teaching strategies. Janet, LuJane, and Joan, you were Blessed to have a daddy that had such a determined spirit and that loved you all so much. I am sure that Heaven welcomed him with great joy. God Bless you all, Steven and I are praying for you during this difficult time.
