Bob Wallace Cooper, 94,
of Poteau, OK passed away Saturday,
October 3, 2015 in Talihina, OK. Bob was
born September 2, 1921 in Poteau, OK to Robert Lee & Rosa Lou (Griffith)
Cooper. He owned and operated the Sears
store in Poteau. Bob was a veteran of
the US Army. He was a member of the
Church of Christ. He was preceded in
death by his paternal grandmother, Ma Gammons; his parents; wife, Mary Belle
Cooper; sister, Sue Cooper Snow; brothers, Eugene and George Earl Cooper.
Survivors include his
daughter & son in law, Barbara &
Jimmy McGee of Broken Arrow, OK; second daughter, Ronda Kay Cooper of Dallas,
TX; grandson, Michael & wife, Agnes
McGee; great grandchildren, Michael Jr.
& Mia Rose McGee; sister, Leslie
Inez Lusk of Tulsa, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones
and friends.
Services will be 2 pm,
Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev.
Jim Cook officiating. Interment will
follow at the Vaughn Cemetery, Gilmore,
OK. Pallbearers will be Michael
McGee, Steve Lusk, Eddie Cooper Jr., Aaron Cooper, Mike
Cooper, Joe Paul Cooper & Rob Gonzales.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.
