Okla Homer Duffle Jr.
"Ted", 82, of Panama, OK passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015 in
Muskogee, OK. Ted was born August 22,
1932 in Midland, AR to Okla & Iva Rose (Boyd) Duffle.
He was a veteran of the US Army & served in Korea. He was a member of the VFW and American
Legion. Ted was a 32nd Degree Mason. He worked for the US Forestry Dept. He was
preceded in death by his parents; sister, Erma Amirkhanian and brother, Jimmy
Duffle.
Survivors include his
sisters, Agnes Pierce of Shady Point, OK & Betty Hopson of Bowie, TX;
brothers, Johnny W. Duffle of Wichita Falls, TX and Carl W. Duffle of Austria;
numerous nieces, nephews; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Private services will be
held.
My condolences to the family for your recent loss. I don't remember the exact year I became friends with Ted Duffle but it was before 1952. We both attended Eastern Oklahoma A&M College and were team mates on the football team. We became life long friends after 1955. There will always be a special place in my memory for Ted Duffle.
ReplyDeleteI so loved this man he kept us company at 31 junction many days and evening he reminded me so much of my own daddy and he would always ask about my folks knowing they live in Mo. He will miss so much i saw him a few months ago at the Casino and he knew right away who i was and asked about my folk he made life so much better for everyone around him
