BROOKLYN DELEPLANK



Brooklyn Elayna  Deleplank, 15, of Bokoshe, OK passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015.  Brooklyn was born July 9, 2000 in Tulsa, OK to Billy E. & Carla (Branscom) Deleplank.    Brooklyn loved to play basketball.  She was a beautiful and outgoing person.  Brooklyn had lots of friends and was a typical teenage girl.  She loved her brothers; she was her Daddy's little girl.  Brooklyn had dreams of becoming an oncologist, in hopes of curing the disease that took her papa away from her.  Brooklyn and her phone were inseparable; you would never see her without it.  Brooklyn will be dearly missed and her passing will leave a hole in many hearts. Brooklyn was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bob & Artie Deleplank; Linda & Carl Branscom; and aunt Lucinda Smith.

Survivors include her father Billy Deleplank & his wife, Bobbi of Bokoshe, OK; her mother, Carla Branscom Deleplank of Heavener, OK, brothers, Billy Deleplank II, Trajan Deleplank & Ryker Deleplank of Bokoshe, OK;   maternal grandparents, Ralph & Mildred Phillips other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be  10 am, Thursday - August 20, 2015 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating.  Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, OK.  Pallbearers will be Billy Cook, Victor Pierce, Bryan Murray,  Al Monks, Levy Smith and Bryce Smith.

The family will be at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

  11. We will remember her always!!! Tatum, Lexi, DeLacey and Brooklyn were more than just friends they were sisters, Brooklyn will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

  19. It seems like forever since i've played a game of backyard basketball with Brooklyn.I know that she will be balling it up in heaven, and i can't wait to play another game with her again one day. Your family is in my thoughts, and prayers. God Bless.
