Don
L. Goad, 76, of Wister, OK passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 in
Wister. Don was born February 10, 1939
in Wister, OK to Robert Bost & Gladys N. (Heflin)
Goad. He was a timber logging
contractor. He loved to fish, hunt and
play music. He loved to play at the
nursing home every Tuesday night. Don
was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Donna Lea Goad; sisters, Mary
Goad Mayberry, Linda Oliver, JoAnn Burleson.
Survivors
include his son, Shawn Goad & Tammy of Wister, OK; daughter, Susan Goad Akers
& Steve of Poteau, OK; 8
grandchildren & spouses, Matthew Akers & Erin, Stephanie Gillham &
Thad, Shawn Goad Jr. & Autumn, Waylon Goad & Tiffany, Aaron Goad, Cody
Fox & Cristina, Nichole Callahan & Matt, Misty McBride & Joey;
numerous great grandchildren; sister, Sharon Kay Clinton of Poteau, OK; other
relatives, loved ones & many friends.
Graveside
services will be 2 pm, Friday, March 26, 2015 at A.L.
Stephens Cemetery,
Clayton, OK
with Rev. Gene Heflin officiating.
