Walden, 72, of Poteau, OK
passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in Ft. Smith.
AR. Doyle was born March 12, 1942 in LeFlore, OK
to William Andrew & Lurahree Eugenia (Allison) Walden. He was a conductor/brakeman for the
railroad. Doyle was a veteran of the US
Army. He was preceded in death by
his parents; brother Jack Walden and stepson,
Donald Sockey.
Survivors
include his wife Patricia of the home;
children, Terri McLaughlin of Alliance,
NE, Jennifer Harden of Ft. Smith,
AR, Tim Walden of Clarksville, IA, Stacy Blaylock of Panama, OK; stepsons,
Michael Sockey of Poteau, OK, Edward Sockey of Shady Point, OK; 13
grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 5 brothers & sisters; other
relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services
will be 2 pm, Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK
with Rev. Jim Cook officiating.
Interment will follow in Reichert
Cemetery, Reichert, OK. Pallbearers will be his railroad buddies.
The
family will be at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5-7 pm to visit with
friends and relatives.
