Lyle Hopkins, 64, of Spiro,
OK passed away Sunday, August 31,
2014 in Spiro. Raymond
was born January 15, 1950 in Poteau,
OK to William Frank &
Virginia Mae (Faulkenberry) Hopkins. He
was a carpenter. Raymond was a veteran
of the US Army. He was preceded in death
by his father and brother, Edward Ray Underwood.
Survivors
include his mother, Virginia Leiper of Spiro, OK; brother & sister in law, Frankie & Pamela
Hopkins of Dallas, TX;
sister, Margie Mitchell of Pocola,
OK; nieces & nephews,
William, Faith & Beth Hopkins, Jessica & William Mitchell; great niece,
Rowan Mitchell; other relatives & loved ones, many friends.
Services
will be 2 pm Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK
with Rev. C.L. Thomas & Rev. Larry Stacy officiating. Interment will follow in Howe Cemetery,
Howe, OK
The family will be
at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5-7 pm to visit with relatives
& friends.
