Collier C. Orr, 97, of Panama, OK passed away
Sunday, August 17, 2014 in Poteau,
OK. Collier was born July 29, 1917 in DeQueen, AR
to Charles & Ethel (Smith) Orr. He
was a veteran of the US Army, serving in WWII receiving Victory Medal, Asiatic
Pacific Campaign Medal, and good conduct medal.
Collier retired from Civil Service in 1974. He was preceded in death by his son, Curtis
Orr. He loved to fish & hunt with
his grandchildren. He and Ruth (Campbell) were married
for 37 years.
Survivors include his wife
Ruth of the home; daughters, Juanita McKinney of Weleetka, OK, Linda Riebeiro
of Benicia, CA; stepsons, Tommy Little of Rehoboth Beach, DE, Brad Little of
Norman, OK; Rodney Riebeiro & numerous other grandchildren & great
grandchildren; other relatives, loved ones & friends.
Services will be 10 am,
Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Oakland
Cemetery Pavilion, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment will follow.
