Edward Henry Cobb, 71, of Poteau, OK
passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014 in Poteau.
Edward was born October 10, 1942 in Enid,
OK to John Henry & Ruth Marguerite (Carlisle) Cobb. He
was a mechanic. Edward was a veteran of
the US Air Force. He was preceded in
death by his parents; 1 son, Edward Lee Cobb; 1 sister, Ellen Fauver.
He and Betty Fenwick were
married on July 30, 1960.
Survivors include his wife,
Betty of the home; daughter, Mary Cobb Rose of Poteau, OK; son, David Cobb of
Poteau, OK; 3 sisters, Elsie Rumley of Coalgate, OK, Mary & (Harold)
Patterson of Sayre, OK, Sadie Hornsby of Sayre, OK; 7 grandchildren; 7 great
grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews; other relatives, loved ones &
many friends.
Services will be 2 pm,
Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK
with Rev. Jim Cook officiating.
Interment will follow in Oakland
Cemetery, Poteau.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.
