Patsy Jean Gilstrap, 83, of
Poteau, OK
went to be with the Lord Friday, June 27, 2014 in Poteau. Patsy was born in Dow-Hartshorne, OK
on March 22, 1931 to William Franklin & Isabell I. (Blair) Clay. She was a secretary at the courthouse for
years. She was a member of the First
Baptist Church
in Poteau. Patsy was an avid reader. She
was the “Best Mom in the World”. Patsy
was preceded in death by her husband, Bob E. Gilstrap on 2/11/2002 & sister
Nancy Pierce.
Survivors include her
daughters, Luana Gilstrap, Jeana & David Stone of Poteau; granddaughters,
Meredith & Craig Price of Wilburton, OK, Sara Beth Stone of Poteau, OK;
great granddaughter, Scarlett Price; other relatives, loved ones & friends.
Memorial services will be
11 am, Monday, June 30, 2014 at the First Free Will Baptist Church, Poteau, OK
with Rev. Phil McGehee & Rev. Jim Cook officiating.
