Howard Leon LeMaster Sr.,
73, of Poteau, OK passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014 in
Poteau. Leon
was born December 3, 1940 in Coweta,
OK to Howard & Juanita Ethel
(Mahaffey) LeMaster. He was a former
businessman, police officer & farmer.
Leon
was a member of the Assembly of God Church & the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents;
sister, Alice and granddaughter, Kayla.
Survivors include his wife
of 53 years, Arlene (Easton) LeMaster of the home; son, Howard Leon LeMaster
Jr. (Lee) & Regina of Poteau, OK; daughters, Vicki
LeMaster Craig & husband Paul of Brighton , CO, Terri LeMaster Dershem
& husband Tod of Coweta, OK; grandchildren, Heather & Virginia Craig,
Daniel & Elizabeth Schulein, Kodee, Kaigan & Ty LeMaster; great
grandchild, Gabriel Andrews; sister, Barbara LeMaster Smedley and husband Coy;
mother in law, Mildred Lovell Easton; several
brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews; other relatives, loved
ones & many friends.
Services were 10 am,
Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Oakland Cemetery Pavilion, Poteau, OK with Rev.
Stanley Odom officiating.
