Patricia Ann Beason, 75, of
Wister, OK went
to be with her Lord & Savior Sunday, January 12, 2014 in Ft. Smith, AR. Pat was born
February 18, 1938 in Tahlequah,
OK to Ernest & Leona (Hicks)
Powell. She was retired from G’s
Cleaners. Pat was a member of the 1st
Southern Baptist Church of Wister for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her parents;
brothers, Tom & Wayne Powell.
Survivors include her
husband of 58 years (married July 2,
1955) Billy Joe Sr. of the home; sons, Billy Joe Beason Jr. & wife Darlene
of Wister, OK, Ricky Beason of Wister, OK,
Steven Beason of Wister; daughters, Sherri Smith & husband Jeff of
Poteau, OK, Traci Bethell of Wister, OK, Kelly Turnipseed & husband, Shain
of Wister, OK; brothers, Jim Powell of Tahlequah, OK, Jack Powell of CA; 1
sister in law – Betty Abel; brother in law, Charles Beason; 13 Grandchildren,
Rusty, Gary, John, Chris, Jennifer, Lacy, Katy, Tyler, Devin, Cody, Daniel,
Colby, Easton; 8 great grandchildren, Mackensie, Brayli, Paityn, Taryn,
Preslei, Tucker, Cayden, Kinlee; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other
relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be 2 pm,
Thursday, January 16, 2014 at First Baptist Church
in Wister, OK with Rev. Keith Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Glendale/Mt. View
Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rusty,
Gary, John, Chris Beason, Cody & Daniel Kimble, Colby Turnipseed; Honorary
pallbearers will be Ron Clements, Terry Thompson, Colton Woolbright, Jesse
Hammons, Scotty Helfrich, T.W. Emerson.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5-7 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.
