Joe Carroll Molton, 71, of Shady Point, OK
passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014 in Shady Point. Joe was born September 13, 1942 in Wellington, TX
to Oscar & Opal (Gibbons) Molton.
He was a welder. Joe helped in
the construction of the AES Plant. He
loved to restore old cars; he was a member of the Studebaker Club; a member of the Masonic Lodge; and a veteran
of the US Army where he served in Vietnam as a helicopter crew chief.
Joe was preceded in death by his
parents; wife, Sharon Kingery Molton; and brothers, W.L. & Archie Molton.
Survivors include his wife,
Pam of the home; daughter Jody Molton of Barling, AR and sister, Annetta Cortez
of Poteau; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Memorial services will be
held 10 am, Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Evans Chapel of Memories with Rev. Jim
Cook officiating. Interment will be in Shady Point
Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be John Huff, John
Scarborough, Richard Blone.
