Sorry for your lose. He was such a great man.
ReplyDeleteBill Barber. Who can say what you have meant to so many? You changed our lives, that of our children, and quite possibility that of our grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know that, as a teenager, his life goal was to give away one million dollars?
Thank you, Bill Barber.

ReplyDeleteSorry for your loss and the void Bill will leave. He was consistently a man on the move towards helping others in his home town; no matter what aspect of his life he may have crossed with yours.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being there for our family from time to time.
Sincerely, Sue Johnson and family
What a tremendous loss for all of us and for Bill's dear family. It was my joy to serve by the side of this great man of vision who had a generous spirit and a servant's heart. We have lost a special man of faith.

I just found this..I am so sorry for the loss to his family. I remember when we first came to Poteau we didn't have much money and Bill talked my grandma into getting us three older kids a nice bike a piece.I guess I never will forget that..He sure helped us a lot too otherwise...
ReplyDeleteI just heard of Bill's passing & found this online. I am speechless.
ReplyDeleteI had the honor of meeting Bill J in 1997 when looking at a cabin to buy up here. He made that dream, & others come true for me.
He was the definition of character, integrity & spiritual principals. I know he helped many & I am truly honored to have known him.
To his family: I am so sorry for your loss. I believe he would want everyone to know that he is now in such a better place, & watches over you all.
Rest in peace, Bil J
