Walter Lawrence Urchison,
88, of Monroe, OK passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013
in Talihina VA Center. He was born April
14, 1925 in Hilltown, OK to
George & Lucy (Richard) Urchison.
His parents were immigrants from Czechoslovakia
& Italy. He enjoyed construction work, country music,
and helping people in need. He was a
veteran of the US Army serving in WWII.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Paul, John, Edgar
& George; and sister, Dorothy Urchison Riggs.
Survivors include his sons,
Lawrence & Criss Urchison and Glen Urchison; several grand & great
grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter; other relatives & loved ones;
many beloved friends.
Services will be 10 am,
Saturday, November 30, 2013 graveside at Monroe
Cemetery, Monroe, OK
with Rev. Jim Cook officiating.
Interment will follow.
