Samuel Arthur Jones, 74, of
Poteau, OK
passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013 in Tulsa,
OK. Sam was born December 19, 1938 in Shattuck, OK
to Johnnie Delbert & Fern Mildred (Hand) Jones. He was a construction contractor. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife
Evalee of the home; daughters Tamala Lee Carr of Chino, CA, Stephanie Renee
Jones of Panama, OK; son & daughter in law, Samuel Alan & Kimberly Jones
of CA; 3 grandchildren, Colleen & husband Todd, Heather & husband
Carlos, Shaundra, Cory & wife Ashley, Caden, Isabella, Keaton, & Addison; 1 great
grandchild, McKala; 1 brother, Johnnie & Jean Jones of Loomis, CA; other
relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be 11 am,
Friday, November 1, 2013 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, OK
with Rev. Jim Cook officiating.
Interment will follow in Old Bokoshe Cemetery,
Bokoshe, OK.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Thursday evening from
6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
