Sam Hutchison, 88, of Poteau, OK passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013 in Talihina, OK. Wilmer Samuel Hutchison was born January 8, 1925 in Cameron, OK
to Wilmer & Abby (Carpenter) Hutchison.
Sam was a veteran of the US Army. He was a mechanic. Sam was preceded in death by his wife, Anna
Leona Hutchison; his parents; brothers, William “Landis”, Bobby and Vernon Hutchison; sister, Laura
Gaither.
Survivors include his
daughter & son in law, Wilma Jean & Roger Washington of Tahlequah, OK;
son & daughter in law, Dan “Hutch” & Sally Hutchison of Poteau, OK;
grandsons, Nick Hutchison, John Adam Hutchison and Chris Washington; granddaughter,
ShyAnne Hutchison; nieces, Vida Jean and Margaret and their families; other
relatives, loved ones, and many friends.
Services will be 2 pm,
Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhill Cemetery,
Cameron, OK. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Fox, Bill Maggard,
Brad Maggard, James Wooten and David Gullick.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Friday evening from 5-7 to visit with relatives & friends.
