passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012 in Rogers, AR. Debra was born October 26, 1956 in Houston,
TX to Eldred & Beverly Jean (Caldwell)
Embrey. She was an English professor in
Alfred and Wellsville, NY.
In addition, she taught junior high and high school at Immaculate
Conception in Wellsville, NY
and Bristow High
School in Bristow,
OK. Debra was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include
her daughter & son in law, Elizabeth Chandler (McDonough) & Christopher
Thomas Harrington of Lowell, AR; grandson, Nicholas Michael Harrington of
Lowell, AR; mother, Beverly Jean Embrey of Poteau, OK; Sisters, Karen Alicia
Embrey of Tulsa, OK, Jeana Beth & Mike Scott of Bentonville, AR; brothers,
Michael Eldred & Sunita Embrey of Oklahoma City, OK, Stephen Duane &
Theresa Embrey of Poteau, OK; nieces & nephews, Scott Wise, Shari
Schenfield, Angela Moore, Heath Embrey, Ryan Embrey, Ian Embrey, Allie Embrey,
Taylor Embrey, Jillian Embrey, Ashley Scott, Lauren Virden, Hannah Manifold,
Harrison Scott; great nieces & nephews, Kendall Wise, Madison Schenfield,
Keaton Schenfield, Lily Townsend, Aubrey Scott, Embrey Virden, Austin Watson,
Artemis Embrey, Trysten Moore; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved
friends and her students.
Services will be 3
pm, Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK
with Rev. Lynn Bullard officiating.
Interment will follow in Oakland
Cemetery, Poteau, OK.
In lieu of flowers
donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Assoc.
I am there with you my precious Liz!!! I am sending you all my love and many hugs!!!!!! My thoughts are so very much with you now and in the days to come! I am always here for you!!!!!
