Glenn, 70, of Howe, OK passed away Monday, October 15, 2012 in Howe. Raymond was born January 12, 1942 in Wister,
OK to Lawrence Edward & Amaytha (Hall) Glenn. He was a lifelong cattle rancher and quarter
horse breeder. He always loved telling
stories about his life experiences.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; several aunts and uncles
and one brother in law Charles Lenard
Raymond is survived
by his wife of 45 years, Carrie Jean (Lenard) Glenn of the home; daughter,
Peggy Glenn of Tahlequah, OK; son, Raymond (Eddie) Glenn of Lawrence, KS; one
brother, Ron Glenn & wife Harriett of Hodgen, OK; one sister, Kaye (Glenn)
Cauthron and husband Ernie (Buck) of Fanshawe, OK; brothers in law, Rolly
Lenard of Hackett, AR, George Lenard of Shreveport, LA, James Lenard and wife,
Lynn of Haskell, OK; sisters in law, Linda Lenard of Crystal Springs, MS, Emmie
Carpenter and husband Gary of Wister, OK; Janie Owens and husband, Davy of
Summerfield, OK; one aunt, Ruth Wilson of Poteau, OK; a host of loving nieces,
nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great nephews and friends.
Services will be 2
pm, Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the First Baptist
Church in Heavener, OK
with Rev. Sam Dyer, Rev. Jim Cook, Rev. Jeff Bengs, & Rev. Bentley Hill
officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. View Cemetery, Glendale,
OK.
Thank you for posting this information. My grandpa recently passed away and I am sure a large part of being able to relax in such a difficult situation was probably the services that were offered. There are places like the funeral homes in Portland Oregon that I think are around for that reason. I am not expert on this subject, but it seems important to have.
