Maxcine Warren

      Maxcine Warren, 56, of Poteau, OK passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012 in Tulsa, OK.  Maxcine was born January 19, 1956 in Parkin, AR to John Jr. & Cora Lee (Spencer) Smith.  She was a teacher, counselor, & LRC/Student Support Tutor/Developmental Coordinator for Carl Albert State College Admin. Director.  Maxcine was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Vernell Willis; and niece Angelina Willis.

      Survivors include her husband, Terry Warren Sr. of the home; daughters & sons in law, Meicha & Travion Smith of Tatum, TX, Kimberly Price of Poteau, OK, Stephanie Kaywood Ivore & Jr.  Ivore; sons, Terrance & Kimberly Warren, Terry Jr. & Crystal Warren of Poteau, OK, Dereck Warren of Broken Bow, OK,  Erick & April Warren of Broken Bow, OK; grandchildren, Kyshaun Smith, Alexus Smith, Daymien Smith, Vanessa Warren, Jazmine Warren, Braya Warren, Shayla Warren, Elijah Price, Jada Price, Amisha Warren, Kiara Warren, Dauntay Warren, Caden Warren, Ieysha Cheney,  Ilayna Cheney, Keynen Warren, Kaysen Warren; brothers, John L. Willis of Parkin, AR, James Smith (Ed)  of Wynne, AR, Johnny Smith of Ft. Smith, AR; sisters, Willie Smith (Bill) of Denver, CO, Martha Ann Hubbard (Bessie) of Colt, AR, Bertha Williams of Ft. Smith, AR, Glenda Williams (Ray) of Wynne, AR.  Other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.

     Services will be 1 pm, Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church in Poteau, OK with Superintendent  J.J. Watson officiating. Burial in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Nolan Jr., Richard Smith, Sterling Warren III, Cavin Smith, Tartis Warren Jr.   Artis Warren.  Honorary pallbearers will be Glendale Collins, Carl Moore, Mickel Willis, Timothy Cole, Ricky Hubbard, & Ryan Richardson

The family will be at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
