David Leroy Kjelstrom Shreveport - David Leroy Kjelstrom, 32 passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2011. Visitation will be held from 10:00 until 11:30 am on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, with chapel services to follow at Osborn Funeral Home. Reverend Gene Nix of Shreve City Baptist Church will be officiating the service. Interment will be at 1:00 pm at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, OK, on Thursday, September 8, 2011. David was a native of Ft Smith, AR, and a resident of Shreveport since 1979. He was a member of Shreve City Baptist Church and attended Caddo Exceptional School, Shreve Island Elementary School, Broadmoor Middle School and C. E. Byrd High School. He was an avid religions student. David is preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by his parents Mary and Marvin Kjelstrom, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family request that memorials be made to the Louisiana Hemophilia Foundation at 3636 South Sherwood Frst # 450, Baton Rouge, LA 70816-2285. David’s family wishes to express the sincere appreciation to all the people who brightened David’s life.
