William "Everett" Bland

William "Everett" Bland, 71, of Shady Point, OK passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010 in Ft. Smith, AR. Everett was born July 14, 1938 in Dewitt, AR to Sammy & Johnnie (Franks) Bland. He was a sand blast/painter. Everett was a member of Jesus Name Assembly in Panama, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leon & Ted Bland; and grandson, Gabriel. Survivors include his wife, Pat of the home; 4 daughters, Deborah Joslin of Mountainburg, AR, Rhonda Bland of Carthage, MO, Cherrine Price of Ft. Smith, AR, Lowanna Wilson of Shady Point, OK; 2 sons, Terry Lester of Ft. Smith, AR, Rodney Bland of Bentonville, AR; 1 sister, Sophia Henshaw of Roland, OK; 2 brothers, Harrison Bland of McGee, AR, Ed Bland of Mountainburg, AR; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends. Services were held 2 pm, Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, OK with Rev. Harold Thompson officiating. Interment followed in Shady Point Cemetery, Shady Point, OK.
