Kay Anderson

Kay Anderson, 67, of Ft. Smith,AR passed away Thursday, April 22, 2010 in Tulsa, OK. Kay was born July 29, 1942, in Pocola, OK to Joe "Pete" & Marie (Williams) Howard. Kay was Elementary Principal at Pocola Schools. She was preceded in death by her father and one niece, Shanna Short. Survivors include her husband, Mark of the home; son, Tommy Henry of Pocola, OK; grandson, Parker Henry of Hurst, TX; mother, Marie Howard, Pocola, OK; 2 sisters, Cletus Woods of Pocola, OK, Phyllis Maden of Ft. Smith, AR; 1 niece, Kim Woods of Pocola, OK; great nieces, Paige McCoy of Poteau, OK, Chelsea Short of Poteau, OK; great nephew, Will Woods of Pocola, OK; stepson, Breck Anderson of Tahlequah, OK; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends. Services held 2 pm, Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at First United Methodist Church in Ft. Smith, AR with Rev. David Orr & Rev. Danny Kennedy officiating. Pallbearers: James Woods, Will Woods, Larry Maden, Scott Short, Chris McCoy, and Tommy O. Henry. The family will be at the funeral home in Pocola on Monday evening from 6-8 to visit with relatives & friends.
