Melissa "MO" Ferguson

Melissa Leeann “MO” Ferguson, 28, of Poteau, OK passed away April 28, 2018 in Oklahoma City, OK. Melissa was born July 17, 1989, in Tulsa, OK to Terry Lee & Tammy (Simmans) Cozby.  She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her husband, Rod of the home; daughters, Emilee Jean and Abigail Ray of the home; her mother, Tammy Cozby of Cameron, OK; 3 sisters, Sydney Cozby of Poteau, OK, Dana Cozby of Heavener, OK, Jodi Nimmo of Fayetteville, AR; 2 brothers, Jeremiah Cozby of Heavener, OK, Marshall Cozby of Poteau, OK; 2 nieces & 1 nephew,  Emma, Gwen & Elizjah; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 11 am, Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at Evans Chapel of  Memories, Poteau, OK with Jim Cook officiating.  Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, OK.  The family will be at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

Steven Benson

   Steven Eugene Benson, 51, of Heavener, OK passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 in Heavener.  Steven was born July 14, 1966, in Enid, OK to Eugene & Wanda (Brown) Benson.   He was preceded in death by his parents; grandchild, Kyle Davis & niece, Andrea Benson.

      Survivors include his wife, Wanda of the home; 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; stepchildren, Christy & Gomer Woodral, Laurie & Junior Ray, Bryan Davis; brother, Joe & JoAnn Benson; sister, Gina McKinney; sister in law, Jody & Jim Carr; brothers in law, Rob Lusk, Michael Lusk & Steven Lusk; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.

               Services will be 2 pm, Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK.    Interment will follow in Royal Oak Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Doug Cranfield, Charles Lusk, Bryan Davis, Michael Lusk, Robby Lusk and DeWayne Tucker; honorary pallbearer, Joe Benson.

           The family will be at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

Bobby L. Weaver

      Bobby Lucille Weaver, 78, of Poteau, OK passed away Friday, April 27, 2018, in Ft. Smith, OK.  Bobby was born September 30, 1939 in Poteau, OK to Luther & Gladys (Harrison) Lindsay.  Bobby was a nurse for over 45 years.  Her life was lived for nursing and her family.   She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ava Key.

             She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Clifford W. of the home;  son & daughter in law, Randy & Tanna Weaver; daughter, Ronda Weaver; grandkids, Randall Weaver, Brandon & Angelia Weaver, Paige Weaver, Hanna Weaver, Jeremy & Ashley James, Billy Sears; great grandkids, Stephen James, Hunter Sears, Aiden James, Britney James, Travis Morris, Johnathan Ralls, Lexi Weaver, Brandon Weaver III, Bethany Weaver, Christian Weaver, Wyatt Weaver, Summer Weaver, Erika Weaver, Nikki Weaver, Remington Weaver, Elliot Wilks, Greyson Wilks, Madison Wilson; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

          Services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating.  Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, OK.  Pallbearers will be Randall Weaver, Brandon Weaver, Jeremy James, Billy Wilson, Stephen James, and Brandon Weaver II.

        The family will be at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5-7 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

MATTALEE FOX

       Mattalee Fox, 86, of Cameron, OK passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018, in Cameron.  Mattalee was born July 26, 1931, in Cameron, OK to Charles Franklin  & Francis Ann 'Bonnie' (Tucker) Mooneyham.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James M. Fox; grandchildren, infant twin boys  Jamey & Jason, Erica Nicole Ladd & Jared Maxwell; sister, Vivian Lorene 'Dick' DuBoise; brothers, William Arthur 'Bill'  & Robert Joseph 'Bob' Mooneyham.

          Survivors include her daughters & sons in law, Barbara Diane & Frank Morris, Carolyn Jane & Eric Ladd of Cameron, OK; sons & daughters in law, James Lee 'Jimmy' & Hazel Fox of Cameron, OK, Charles Edward 'Eddie' & Linda Fox of Poteau, OK; 15 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Mary Elizabeth Farrar of Seminole, OK; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

PRIVATE FAMILY SERVICE  - 2 pm, Friday, April 27, 2018 at Greenhill Cemetery Pavilion - Cameron, OK with Jim Cook officiating.  Interment will follow.

Private family visitation will be Thursday, April 26, 2018, from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Ramona "Ruth" Ragan

          Ramona "Ruth"  Ragan, 80, of Shady Point, OK passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in Shady Point.  Ramona was born October 24, 1937, in Pocola, OK to Dennis Leon & Edna Josephine (Toney) Haskins.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Virginia Lee Lyssy.

          Survivors include her husband, Rex of the home; daughter, Cherry Ragan of the home; son, Christopher Ragan & wife Laurie of Poteau, OK; grandchildren, Bethany Wilson & Nicholas Ragan; great grandchildren, Keat'n Browning & Kash Ragan; brothers & their wives, Robert & Jan Haskins of OKC, Garry & Kathy Haskins of Broken Arrow, OK, Dexter & Suzy Haskins of Poteau, OK, Ron & Diane Haskins of Sherborn, MA; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

          Services will be 10 am, Saturday, April 28, 2018, graveside at Shady Point Cemetery with Dr. Robert Haskins & Rev. Garry Haskins officiating.  Interment will follow.  Pallbearers will be Brant Toney, Brian Toney, Dean Cameron, Kenneth Self, Dexter Haskins, Jerry Basinger.  Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Stewart & Jerry Maxwell.

          The family will be at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
